I recently installed H-D Batwing Reach handlebars on my FLH knowing that I'd, likely, have to change cables and brake lines. Though Harley (Corporate) is, usually, very good about providing all the info needed when installing parts, their information did not provide any help with regards to the cables that would be needed.
Fortunately, David answered my phone call, listed to and understood my needs, and did the research needed to come up with all of the cables and brake lines that I'll need to complete the handlebar installation.
I had researched after market manufacturers (Drag Specialties and Barnet) and decided which cables would be needed (I couldn't find anything satisfactory with the brake lines). However, I wasn't 100% sure that I'd get what I needed. David's assistance gave me the confidence that I'd get the correct parts for my installation. Also, my confidence was increased because, in the event that I ran into any snags, I had David available to assist in the resolution.
I have had many opportunities to deal with David over the years and have always been impressed by his knowledge and willingness to assist. In this instance, buying from H-D was more expensive than after market, but when you add the expertise of David it made the decision to go with the H_d parts a no brainer. (Employee: David Singer)
